I put down over 16 pallets of Zoysia in my back yard in 2017. Wanting to make sure I had the best results, I hired a pest/lawn service to keep it fertilized and weed free. I signed a one year contract and was very dissatisfied with the service I received from that company. My weed free beautiful yard, was not beautiful and weed free. I called Father and Sons to see if they were any better. After just 3 months of service, my yard was weed free again and starting to look much healthier. I can not wait until Spring to see how it comes back. They are worth every penny. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Wish I had started with Father and Sons.

DJ and Tyler came out to treat my lawn today. They were so friendly and professional! DJ immediately asked if I was happy with my service, and we chatted about different kinds of native mushrooms. Very knowledgeable and courteous customer care from these guys! I've been using Father and Son since last summer. They give you a call to let you know they are coming, and try to speak with you in person to address any issues you might be having. Great company!

We have used Father and Son for over a year, initially while living in Gulf Breeze and when we moved to Pensacola, we sadly had to give them up. We were pleased that they started servicing this area and immediately called to start with them again. They do a wonderful job, explaining exactly what they are treating for, and what we can do to establish a good, healthy lawn. They ALWAYS call the evening before, and the day of their visits to ensure we keep our dogs in. They also have been very responsive to any concerns that we have had. Thanks!!

Maintaining a healthy lawn in Florida has been challenging. We have tried several companies and the only one with great results has been Father and Son Landscape. When we had some type of lawn virus, they took a sample of our sod to UWF Agriculture department and a local lab to have it tested and ensure the best treatment They go out of their way to resolve any tough lawn issues and set the bar for customer service. We give them the highest recommendation and only regret not having found them sooner.

Our family moved to an older home that had a terrible yard. Not only was there no grass in large spots, due to fungus, our neighbor said that the past owners had major problems with mole crickets. Yikes! We replanted most of the yard with sod. (It's a HUGE yard, so we were hoping that some of the grass would naturally fill in and would save us on purchasing sod for the entire yard.) Anyway, I called Father and Son Landscape to give me an estimate. I had seen them working on my neighbor's yard, and I liked what I saw. They were diligent to spray the entire yard and spent time working his yard, which looked great! They gave me a fair price, so I hired them 5 months ago. Boy, am I glad that I did! In just a short time, my yard looks fabulous! That sod spread and my yard is one solid green, gorgeous spread. No more mole crickets or weeds, for that matter. I am so thankful I choose Father and Son.

Very good results! Our lawn had gotten in very bad shape due to bugs, weeds, etc. After 2 - 3 months, the improvement was already notable; and after 5 months, and incredible difference! The book on lawn care and problems, written by Skip, is what convinced us to give them a try. We've only had a couple of issues. The very first month, they scheduled us for service on the ONE DAY of the week that we told them to avoid! And a couple of times after that, it seemed that there was little communication between the office and the service techs re: timing of visits, instructions re: dog, and getting a 2nd phone number to the techs so they could still contact us when the primary number (me) was unavailable. Also, the service is just a little on the pricey side -- $100 per month. I would think that offering an option for some discount on a multi month contract would be an option. We will possibly discontinue service after the lawn is nice and established. It was just beyond our ability to get under control, but should be manageable once established. Ken

We called Father & Sons out of desperation. Unfortunately, the store-bought weed killer practically killed our St. Augustine and the weed infestation was getting out of control. Add to it the fire ants and mole crickets, we were at our wits end. After hearing about our troubles, a friend of ours suggested F&S. He raved about the results to his yard so we gave it a try. We couldn’t be happier. The St. Augustine is making a tremendous recovery with no sign of ants and crickets. The dollar weed is completely gone! We even had sod laid in the backyard this spring and it looks amazing. Bottom line, let the experts do it. Definitely recommend.

My lawn was overtaken with clover weeds and I had several dead spots where the grass wouldn’t grow. It was an eye sore to say the least. A friend of mine suggested that I contact Father And Son. After meeting with them, we decided to go with their monthly service where they come out and apply insecticide, fertilizer, and weed control to my lawn. I wish I had taken before and after pictures to show how much better my yard looks now. I am a very satisfied customer and I would definitely continue to use their services.

We have been with Father and Sons now about two years—and the front and back yards are looking amazing! We had a trouble lawn-weeds, pine trees and lack of SUN! Finally now it is looking healthy and lots of SUN—trees removed and monthly treatments have made it finally GREAT! I am very impressed with Father and Son Pest Control.. From the first consultation that was very detailed and honest, to every visit made by the lawn technician giving me detailed notes about issues that I need to address such as Mole Control or Aeration, how to maintain my lawn and pointers on how to address drainage issues. Shannon is awesome. Called about some scheduling concerns and she had a crew servicing my lawn the same day. Her customer service is first class in every way. Glad I called. I have used Father & Son Landscape for my lawn for several years now. I would first like to say that it’s not easy growing and maintaining grass in our area. My service started when during a drought several years ago my sprinkler system crashed, I lost a good bit of my nice lawn, and then the weeds came in. When I could no longer control the weeds and get my lawn back to how it once looked I tried to get help from another popular lawncare company where sadly my lawn continued to decline. I had been hearing good things about Father & Son Landscaping so I spoke with the owner Skip and made an apt. for him to come out and analyze my lawn. He made a plan for my lawn and has never let me down. My lawn came back and it’s looking better now then it has in a long time. I highly recommend this company. If you have any concerns they are quick to respond. I would like to thank John and his team today for my service, they went the extra mile and are very knowledgeable in what they are doing. Living in Florida brings a constant struggle to maintaining a beautiful yard year round. We moved into our new home and we determined to care for it ourselves. Well- it didn’t take long for the mole crickets, fungus, and creepy crawly pests to arrive and ruin our beautiful new yard. We interviewed a few lawn control companies ( and have used quite a few others in the past and were dissatisfied) - and chose Father and Son Landscaping. If you're looking for the best lawn care specialist then these are the guys to have. All of them are extremely professional and actually take pride in what they do. I didn't catch the name of the 2 gentlemen that sprayed the first time but I've never had a lawn service so polite that they seem to actually enjoy what they do.I hired them this season to get my grass looking good for the summer and I'm glad I did. I had a bunch of weeds after putting sod down last year. I had tried weed killers from Lowe's and the dollar weeds just laughed at me and got worse. So I finally decided to call and see how well they could handle it ( I honestly didn't have high hopes that anyone could kill them before summer). Well after their 1st spray the very next day the damn things were already yellow and dying. By the time they came the following week my grass looked amazing and dollar free. They do such a good job my mom & dad, brother and grandparents all have them now. So if your tired of throwing money away with Tru green and other ones I highly recommend giving Father and Son a try.

Perfect example of a business owner that truly cares about his clients. 5 stars isn't enough. My yard hadn't been cared for in a couple of years and was in terrible shape. I had several other lawn companies come out and they all said it couldn't be saved and that I would need all new sod. Skip was recommended to me by a couple of people so I called him and he came out to give me an estimate on laying new sod. Which would of cost several thousand dollars. After checking my lawn he explained that he could save my grass if I would follow his watering instructions. My yard looks so much better and it's only been a few months. I was ready to drop several thousand dollars but Skips honesty and knowledge kept that from happening! Huge Father and Son Landscaping fan!
