To be successful at killing weeds in your lawn but there are two important keys to be aware of.
1. Choosing the correct herbicide, because no one herbicide kills all types of weeds and 2. Correctly applying the herbicide. If the incorrect amount of herbicide is applied, or its applied only once when it’s necessary to apply more than once, it won’t work.

When choosing a herbicide, be sure that the weed you’re targeting is listed on the label as one the herbicide is designed to control. Also pay close attention to the application instructions so that you apply ENOUGH to kill the weeds but not TOO MUCH so that you injure the lawn. Some weeds require repeat applications a few weeks apart to kill certain varieties of weeds. All this information will be in the label instructions on the herbicide.
